  6. The xpk_Crypt.lha archive cannot be found on world wide Aminet servers,
  7. because of the American cryptography laws. So you have to get it from
  8. German servers. The most important one is ftp.uni-paderborn.de. There it
  9. is in /pub/aminet/util/crypt.

  18. Description
  19. XPK is an interfacing standard between application programs and packer
  20. libraries. All XPK application programs can apply any of the various XPK
  21. compressors or encryptors to their data.

  23. Distributability
  24. XPK is copyrighted, but freely distributable for non-commercial use. Some
  25. parts of XPK have a different legal status, ie. PD, GPL or shareware.
  26.  
  27. This part of the xpk distribution consists of all the cryptographic
  28. libraries. It may be illegal to export these libraries from the USA,
  29. therefore they are in a seperate archive, which should not be made
  30. internationally available from the USA. We do not yet know of any
  31. restrictions to the import or export of this archive from other countries.
